After a string of three wins, the San Bernardino Cardinals's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Indian Springs 43-38. San Bernardino was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Indian Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Despite the defeat, San Bernardino saw an underclassman step up: Laniah Porter scored 11 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Ramirez, who scored eight points.
San Bernardino's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Indian Springs, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
San Bernardino will take on Jurupa Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Rim of the World at 5:30 p.m. Rim of the World has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4.
