Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask North Platte). They were the clear victors by  a  17-4 margin over the Scottsbluff Bearcats on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Tiffany Townsend and  Aryadnna Reyna made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Townsend   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Reyna   tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 11 consecutive appearances. At bat,  Townsend  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs, while  Reyna  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  Townsend has posted  over her last 14  games.
 In other batting news, North Platte let  Lauren Bowers and  Katie Titus run wild. Bowers  went a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles, while  Titus  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  Bowers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Devaney Jones, who  got on base  in three of her six plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
The  victory  got North Platte back to even at 10-10. As for Scottsbluff,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-8.
 Looking ahead, North Platte is taking a road trip to  face off against McCook  on Tuesday. Scottsbluff has  already played their next  contest (against Gering), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
