The Alhambra Moors suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Mark Keppel at home and fell 75-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alhambra has scored all season.
Alhambra lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Megan Lai, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Jackson, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Alhambra and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Mark Keppel, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alhambra will take on Montebello at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montebello has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Mark Keppel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Schurr at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Schurr will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 512th, while Mark Keppel is ranked 162nd).
