McMinn County came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-67 W against the Rhea County Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-46 two weeks ago.

McMinn County pushed their record up to 15-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Rhea County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McMinn County will challenge Walker Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Walker Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 26 contests -- so hopefully McMinn County likes a good challenge. As for Rhea County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. Rhea County is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
