The Gunderson Grizzlies have not lost a match since December 18, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Neither they nor Overfelt could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Gunderson has been dealt a draw since back in December of 2023.
Their goal came courtesy of
Maiya Alvarez, who's now up to nine this season.
Gunderson's draw gives them a new season record of 10-2-2. Meanwhile, Overfelt's record is now 5-8-1.
Gunderson will head out on the road to challenge San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunderson is coming into the matchup with four straight defeats on the road, meaning San Jose will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Overfelt, they will be playing at home against Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Overfelt surely won't give up without a fight.
