The Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions took a 34-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alliance Bloomfield Bulls on Thursday. The Lions lost against the Bulls in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 45-9 score last time.
Alexa Hernandez and Sabrina Quijano certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hernandez posted 13 points plus five steals, while Quijano had seven points along with five steals.
Los Angeles Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Angeles Leadership Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The School of Los Angeles at 12:30 p.m. on December 6th. After both having extra time off, Alliance Bloomfield and Animo Watts will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on December 3rd.
