On Wednesday, Palm Springs was the victim of a  rough 50-24 defeat at the hands of Paloma Valley. Palm Springs was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  32-8.
 Despite the loss, Palm Springs still got an impressive performance from   Eiresslee Wells, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 15  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Naomi Bote, who  scored three points along with five  rebounds.
 It was another big night for  Ashlee Medrano, who  scored 20 points along with seven  steals for Paloma Valley. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which  Medrano has scored at least 25% of Paloma Valley's points.  Gina  Misiaita was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with six  rebounds.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Palm Springs and  nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Paloma Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
 Palm Springs won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Upland at 9:30  a.m.  on December 28th. King is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
