While Skipstone Academy's  win against Peoples Baptist Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors skirted past the Knights  8-6. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

 Jace Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
 In other pitching news,  Gage Wheat looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Carter Cook, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Kade Gregory, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
Skipstone Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Coincidentally, Skipstone Academy and Peoples Baptist Academy will both be playing Trinity Christian School of Griffin the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the LIONS at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while the Knights will head out to face them  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
