They enjoyed a cozy 54-37 victory over Savanna. Given Anaheim's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while Savanna is ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anaheim's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aleah McGregor, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and six assists. McGregor hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Guzman, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Anaheim pushed their record up to 22-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.7 points. As for Savanna, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-6.
Anaheim will head out on the road to challenge Santa Ana Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Savanna, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Magnolia at 6:00 p.m.
