The Downey Knights can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by Modesto on the road to the tune of 53-24. That looming 53-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Downey yet this season.
Downey got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joslyn Sheppard out in front who scored six points along with nine steals and two blocks. Nathalia Soto, was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals and two blocks.
