The Don Lugo Conquistadores will challenge the Oak Hills Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Oak Hills will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Don Lugo extended their winning streak to six on Friday. The Conquistadores blew past Chaffey 10-2.

Don Lugo got a great performance from David Rivera as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Rivera has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Jaden Burillo was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Joseph Valencia was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Don Lugo hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Oak Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Hesperia get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Keith Williams and Jacob Webster did most of the damage at the plate: Williams went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Webster went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That triple marked the first that Williams has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Wagner, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Oak Hills' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Don Lugo, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.
Don Lugo couldn't quite get it done against Oak Hills when the teams last played back in March of 2015 as they fell 10-7. Can the Conquistadores avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
