Redlands posted their closest win since April 17, 2025 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Hemet Bulldogs. The win was just business as usual for the Terriers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Diego Uribe was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brodie Nieto, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Redlands was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hemet only posted a batting average of .273.
Redlands' record now sits at 3-0. As for Hemet, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redlands will take on Moreno Valley in a tournament on Thursday. As for Hemet, they will be taking part in a tournament against Temecula Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
