The Berkeley Yellowjackets will venture away from home to take on the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Berkeley comes in on ten and Mater Dei Catholic on five.
Berkeley saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over Durango. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Berkeley got a great performance from Seddrick Henderson as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Henderson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

Colton Gregg tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Berkeley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mater Dei Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
