Sedan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut John Wade.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Xzavier McClamy and Logan Gaither. McClamy gained 111 total yards and three touchdowns while Gaither rushed for 79 yards and two TDs on only eight carries. The dominant performance also gave McClamy a new career-high in rushing yards (81). Chase Douglas was another key player, rushing for 81 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.
