Softball Recap: Dacula Drops Highest Score of Season Against Central Gwinnett

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dacula). They never let the Central Gwinnett Black Knights get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Dixie Towler looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

At the plate, Karsyn Plaisance was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatiana Loera, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Dacula always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .963. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Dacula's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Central Gwinnett, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Dacula will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Black Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
