Joe Parsons was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for El Dorado: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Clay Garrett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Garrison Ewing also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
