Softball Recap: Lambert Has No Trouble Against North Atlanta

Lambert got themselves on the board against North Atlanta on Tuesday, but North Atlanta never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Avery Cole, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in August.

Lambert's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for North Atlanta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 18 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.

Lambert will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Atlanta: the pair will be back at it again later today.
