The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Cloud Cathedral, who took down 157th ranked St. Cloud Cathedral, 36-28. Greg Chmiel ran for 171 yards in the win.
Princeton moved up to 154 from 190 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Granite Ridge. The Tigers climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Becker 27-20.
Albany's dynamic duo of Scott Litchy and Carter Holthaus proved tough for Little Falls to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Litchy threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns and Holthaus had 105 yards receiving. Dalton Finken helped Albany's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Zimmerman's Cam Korlath and Collin Ashley have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Korlath has thrown for 760 yards this season, while Ashley, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 12 catches for 248 yards. Litchy from the Huskies leads the league in rushing with 705 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Foley takes on Princeton. At the moment, the Falcons are in second, while Mark Hayes' team is in fourth.
Foley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in Granite Ridge. Earlier in the week, Larry Herm's team triumphed over Milaca 45-18.
