The Hamilton Bobcats will challenge the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Jacinto Leadership Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamilton, who comes in off a win.
Hamilton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Desert Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Conquerors with a sharp 10-4 win last Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their one-run performance the game before.
Adam Barreto made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Hamilton is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-6 otherwise. Barreto was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
