The Morse Tigers put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Granite Hills 56-31. Morse might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten contests by 25 points or more this season.
Leading Morse to victory were Kyla Palpallatoc and Jayla White. Palpallatoc scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while White scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The game was White's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yasmine Zufri, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Morse's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Granite Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morse won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Fallbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Morse is ranked 32nd). Granite Hills will be home for the holidays to greet Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
