The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 90-43 win over Nevada Union. Considering Cosumnes Oaks has won five matches by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Isabel Tan, who scored 46 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. The match was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Mendenhall, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Cosumnes Oaks' win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Nevada Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosumnes Oaks will be home for the holidays to greet Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kennedy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Nevada Union, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Chico at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Chico focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
