Baseball Recap: Hephzibah Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

While Hephzibah's win against Laney wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rebels had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 12-11 on Monday. With that victory, the Rebels brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Leonardo Rosado was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Christopher Kohn also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The win snapped Hephzibah's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-8 record. As for Laney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Hephzibah will venture away from home to challenge Glenn Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Laney, they will welcome Josey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
