After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, the Maxwell Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Williams 36-22. This was payback for Maxwell, who suffered a 32-27 loss the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Emma Hendrix, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Bailee Haywood, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Maxwell pushed their record up to 5-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Williams, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
