For Mira Loma, this counts as revenge for the 53-30 defeat Casa Roble walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Mira Loma was led to victory by Desiree Synhorst and Allison Canafe. Synhorst scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Canafe dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Canafe has scored at least a third of Mira Loma's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Ulep, who scored 13 points.
Despite the loss, Casa Roble still got an impressive performance from Savannah Sanders, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Sanders scored 15 or more points.
Mira Loma has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Casa Roble, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Woodland is ranked 1174th, while Casa Roble is ranked 1189th).
