Franklin has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will challenge the Grove City Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Monday.
Last Monday, Franklin really took it to Titusville for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-20 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-7.
Katie Boal was a one-man wrecking crew for Franklin as she dropped a double-double on 26 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Boal has scored at least 25% of Franklin's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamie Blum, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals.
Meanwhile, Grove City didn't have too much trouble with General McLane on the road on Tuesday as they won 52-36.
Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Grove City, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Franklin strolled past Grove City when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 46-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Franklin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
