Two dominant  guards in  Iyanna Wade and  Belle Sysak are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Clairton Bears will be playing at home against the Bishop Canevin Crusaders  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
On Saturday, Clairton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  50-46 to Serra Catholic.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Canevin). They claimed a resounding  65-14 win over Monessen. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  matchups by 22  points or more this season.
 Bishop Canevin found their leader in sophomore  Kya Cooley, who  posted 23  points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Cooley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sysak, who  had 19 points.
 Bishop Canevin's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Clairton, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-4.
 Clairton beat Bishop Canevin 52-43  in their previous matchup  on January 2nd. Will Clairton repeat their success,  or does  Bishop Canevin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
