Whitewater made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Spalding, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Jaguars on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Whitewater and bumps their season record up to 17-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Spalding, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Whitewater will venture away from home to take on Pike County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Spalding will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats faces off against the Pirates, they'll take on Spalding again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
