After four games on the road, Quakertown is heading back home. They will take on the New Hope-Solebury Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, Quakertown suffered a rough 50-30 loss at the hands of the Colonials. While losing is never fun, Quakertown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Colonials are ranked 167th).
Meanwhile, New Hope-Solebury was the victim of a tough 60-39 defeat at the hands of the Lions on Tuesday. New Hope-Solebury has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Quakertown dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for New Hope-Solebury, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Quakertown couldn't quite finish off the Lions in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 and fell 49-47. Will Quakertown have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
