Softball Recap: Carver Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lithonia

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carver). They had just enough and edged out the Lithonia Bulldogs 20-19 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 22-20 loss the last time these two teams met.

Carver is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Lithonia, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver will welcome Dutchtown at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lithonia, they will take on Arabia Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
