Bremen and Callaway are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils will welcome the Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bremen is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.
Bremen's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Ranburne. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Eli Brock made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Nolan Sosebee looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two).
Back at the plate, Dylan Huey was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Palmer, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Callaway suffered their biggest defeat since February 17th on Monday. They came up short against Pepperell, falling 14-4. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Callaway saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Williams, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Bremen pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Callaway, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bremen has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Callaway struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bremen couldn't quite finish off Callaway in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 and fell 2-0. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
