The Biglerville Canners lost against the Portage Mustangs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Biglerville ended up on the wrong side of a rough 56-32 walloping at the hands of Portage.
It was another big night for Jenna Burkett, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds for Portage. Ashlyn Hudak was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Biglerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Portage, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Biglerville will be playing in front of their home fans against Delone Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Portage is on the road again on Saturday and play against Big Spring at 6:30 p.m. on December 9th.
