Jadin Arrington Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Jadin Arrington posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead CenTex HomeSchool over Grace Academy on Friday. Arrington rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
CenTex HomeSchool is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Arrington and CenTex HomeSchool will venture away from home to challenge Hill Country K at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Korbin Schmidt Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Korbin Schmidt produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lubbock T to the win on Saturday. Schmidt rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (118) per game. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
Stephenville FAITH's probably not too fond of Schmidt given he always seems to get the better of them. When Schmidt last faced the Knights back in October of 2023, he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown.

Kalin Love Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Kalin Love posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made ten total tackles and defended three passes. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 60 yards.
For the year, Love has averaged 7 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to two.

A Season-Best Performance from Sam Tarrant Leads King's Academy over Campbell
On Friday, King's Academy got the W thanks in part to Sam Tarrant playing the best football he has all season. Tarrant rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 94 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory for King's Academy keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Tarrant and King's Academy will head out on the road to square off against Founders Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

King's Academy was led to victory by Adam Huval, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Huval picked up four sacks and made ten total tackles (6.0 for loss).
