The Forest Hills Rangers will be playing at home against the Greater Latrobe Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Forest Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
In what's become a running theme this season, Forest Hills gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over Penn Cambria. Given Forest Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Penn Cambria is ranked 184th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forest Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Mcleary, who scored 16 points. Mcleary continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison Schirato, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Greater Latrobe unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Penn-Trafford.
Forest Hills pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.5 points. As for Greater Latrobe, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
