Humboldt will challenge Roosevelt on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Humboldt have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Humboldt had enough points to win and then some against Como Park last Thursday, taking their game 34-19. The success made it back-to-back wins for Humboldt.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt might be aching after a bruising 27-54 defeat to Spectrum. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Roosevelt.
Humboldt's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Roosevelt's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Humboldt's success rolls on or if Roosevelt are able to steal their positive momentum.
