Arcadia has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hoover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Arcadia Apaches will head out on the road to take on the Hoover Tornados at 3:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Arcadia has 12 straight victories, Hoover has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, everything went Arcadia's way against Tesoro as Arcadia made off with a 12-6 win. The Apaches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Arcadia got a great performance from Tyler Swilling as he struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance gave Swilling a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Evan Skinner, who scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Vogel, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, Hoover fell victim to Arcadia and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 20-0 to the Apaches.
Hoover saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Flores, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Arcadia pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Hoover's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Arcadia hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. It's a different story for Hoover, though, as they've only averaged .257. Will they be able to contain Arcadia's hitters?
Everything went Arcadia's way against Hoover in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as Arcadia made off with a 20-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arcadia since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
