Bishop Miege had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-5  on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with  a   41-34  victory over the Blue Valley Tigers. This was payback for the Stags, who suffered  a  27-7  loss the last time these two teams met.

 Among those leading the charge was   Vinny George, who rushed for 101 yards and one  score. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in November of 2024.  Jeremiah Johnson also deserves some recognition as  he  hauled in his first  receiving touchdown of the season.
As for Blue Valley, they moved to 4-4 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. They gained 299 more yards on the day, but it was Bishop Miege that made the best use of them.
 Blue Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Dan Sogard, who threw for 254 yards and four  TDs.  Jacob Lockett also helped with two touchdowns in total.
 Bishop Miege does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blue Valley, they will head out on the road to  take on  Mill Valley  on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Jaguars have now posted at least 31  points  in their last six games.
