The Indian Springs COYOTES had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They snuck past San Bernardino with a 43-38 victory. For Indian Springs, this counts as revenge for the 33-30 defeat San Bernardino walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Despite the defeat, San Bernardino saw an underclassman step up: Laniah Porter scored 13 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds. Porter continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Ramirez, who scored eight points.
Indian Springs pushed their record up to 17-6 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for San Bernardino, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
Indian Springs will take on Pacific at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacific is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for San Bernardino, they will head out on the road to square off against Jurupa Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
