The Orcutt Academy Spartans won the last time they faced the Sierra Chieftains, and things went their way  on Saturday too. Orcutt Academy walked away with  a   56-47  win over Sierra.
 Orcutt Academy found their leader in underclassman  Elizabeth Johnson, who  dropped  a double-double on 35 points and 14  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Ashley Barrientos, who  scored seven points along with six  steals and five  assists.
 The  victory  got Orcutt Academy back to even at 10-10. As for Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
 Orcutt Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Nipomo at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Nipomo has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15. As for Sierra, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Parlier at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Parlier will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 715th, while Sierra is ranked 301st).
