Jordan let Manchester stack four runs on them in the first inning on Thursday but luckily Jordan prevailed anyway. The Red Jackets had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 7-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Jackets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Jared Carter, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Glenn Edmondson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Jordan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manchester struck out 13 times.

Jordan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Manchester, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14-1.

Jordan has already played their next match, a 12-2 loss against Schley County on the 11th. As for Manchester, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Trion on the 12th.
