Pierce is 8-2 against the RedHawks since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pierce Bears will head out on the road to take on the Colusa RedHawks at 8:00 p.m. Pierce is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Thursday, Pierce beat the Trojans 48-36.
Letzy Ambriz was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaslene Condrey, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Colusa waltzed into their game on Friday with 13 straight wins but they left with 14. They blew past Willows 68-33 at home. Colusa's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Pierce is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. Colusa's record now sits at 20-5.
Pierce took a serious blow against the RedHawks when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-24. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Colusa's Aliah Ramirez, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Now that Pierce knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
