After four games on the road, Lincoln is heading back home. They will take on the Franklin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 739th, while Franklin is ranked 293rd).
Lincoln suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 52-14 loss at the hands of Eagle Rock.
Meanwhile, Franklin stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Marshall 49-25. The win was nothing new for Franklin as they're now sitting on three straight.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Ashley Medina and Jeda Taylor. Medina had a solid game and scored 17 points. Meanwhile, Taylor was balling out in the loss, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.
Lincoln has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Franklin, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
Lincoln was taken down by Franklin 46-14 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Medina, who scored 26 points.
