There's no place like home for the Highland Scots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They managed a 27-21 victory over Wasco on Wednesday. The victory was just what Highland needed coming off of a 52-9 defeat in their prior game.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaelyn Juarez, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Highland's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Wasco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Highland will head out on the road to face off against Arvin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arvin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Highland in California (Arvin is ranked 337th, while Highland is ranked 1080th). Wasco won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 7th.
