The Westover Wolverines meant business on Friday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Trojans squad that has allowed just 29.14 points per contest. Westover simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Harnett Central 56-22 at home. Westover might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 20 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Rmani Robinson , who almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 steals. Ja?Naisha Carney was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Westover and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Harnett Central, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Westover will take on Trinity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Harnett Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Smithfield-Selma at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Smithfield-Selma comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
