There's no place like home for the Mission Oak Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 50-41 victory over Tulare Western on Wednesday. That's another feather in the cap for Mission Oak, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mission Oak got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiyana Murray out in front who scored 11 points along with eight steals. Another player making a difference was Isabella Zepeda, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Mission Oak's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Tulare Western, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.
Mission Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Lemoore at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lemoore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 933rd, while Mission Oak is ranked 245th). As for Tulare Western, they will head out on the road to face off against Dinuba at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
