Baseball Recap: Mcclatchy Has No Trouble Against Antelope

McClatchy won the last time they faced Antelope and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Titans. Considering the Lions have won nine matches by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Camden Salisbury looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Ryan Sandmeier was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

McClatchy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Antelope only posted a batting average of .208.

McClatchy's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Antelope, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

McClatchy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
