While losing is never fun, Kennedy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1054th, while Irvington is ranked 232nd).
Despite the defeat, Kennedy got a solid performance out of Liliana Banda Banda, who scored nine points.
Kennedy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Irvington, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
