Mercyhurst Prep has gone a perfect 3-0 against Eisenhower recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lakers will host the Knights at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mercyhurst Prep has ten straight victories, Eisenhower has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Mercyhurst Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over DuBois Central Catholic on Thursday. Considering the Lakers have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hunter Krahe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Zack Kruszewski and Noah Reigel did most of the damage at the plate: Kruszewski went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Reigel went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Reigel continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Lucca Almonte was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Mercyhurst Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Eisenhower and Iroquois had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves on Monday.
Mercyhurst Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
Mercyhurst Prep got the 'W' in their previous matchup two weeks ago against Eisenhower by a conclusive 19-3 score. Do the Lakers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
