Kenna Thomas was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Maddy Jones, who posted seven points in addition to nine steals and six assists.

Meanwhile, North Penn-Liberty came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mountie had established a 20 point advantage.
Williamson better keep an eye on Haley Litzelman. She was instrumental in North Penn-Liberty's win, dropping a triple-double on 22 points, 15 boards, and ten assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Litzelman has scored at least a third of North Penn-Liberty's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Graham, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 14 points and five steals.
The win got Williamson back to even at 4-4. As for North Penn-Liberty, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Williamson has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 40.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like North Penn-Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Williamson beat North Penn-Liberty 42-32 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Williamson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
