The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McCook Central/Montrose in their matchups with Madison: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Corsica/Stickney's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were dealt a 64-32 defeat at the hands of Freeman.
McCook Central/Montrose's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Corsica/Stickney, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
