Brock Ketelsen was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other pitching news, Kole Laubach looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Valley Christian got a massive performance out of Logan Mull, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Jordan Ortiz, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
Valley Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
